Cultivate a Lifestyle 'CaL'

2026年4月にKarimoku Commons Tokyoで開催されたPop-upイベント 「Cultivate a Lifestyle “CaL” Ⅲ」 に参加。 本展では、Paso、Kazumi Takigawa、WAKA WAKA × Karimoku Furniture など、異なる領域で活動するつくり手たちとともに、生活に寄り添うプロダクトのあり方を探る展示が行われた。閃はゲストとして参加し、福井の風土や素材、伝統工芸に触れながら制作してきたインテリアプロダクトを展示・販売。越前を拠点とする活動の中で培ってきた視点をもとに、地域に根ざした素材や技術を現代の生活空間へ接続する試みを紹介。会場となったKarimoku Commons Tokyoは、ショールーム、ギャラリー、オフィスの機能を併せ持つ場です。家具やプロダクト、そして人の営みが交差する空間の中で、閃の制作が「暮らしの中に立ち上がる表現」としてどのように存在しうるかを探る機会となりました。 SEN participated in Cultivate a Lifestyle “CaL” III, a pop-up event held at Karimoku Commons Tokyo in April 2026.Alongside makers and designers working across different fields, including Paso, Kazumi Takigawa, and WAKA WAKA × Karimoku Furniture, SEN presented interior products developed through its practice in Fukui.The works, shaped through encounters with the climate, materials, and craft traditions of Echizen, explored ways of connecting locally rooted materials and techniques to contemporary living environments.Set within Karimoku Commons Tokyo ,a space that brings together a showroom, gallery, and office, the exhibition became an occasion to reflect on how SEN’s practice might take form within everyday life.
